To build better friendship and goodwill between the clubs
Club members of districts 3240 and 3292
The IDYEP team were members of 5 rotaractors from district 3240 Mumbai. We met them at around 3:00 pm at Gwarko, Lalitpur. First thing was lunch, as the IDYEP team had had a fill of traditional cuisine we feasted on Tibetian noodles and the infamous Laphing. After an hour we visited the Jyapu Samaj Ethnic Museum where we experienced the way of life of the ethnic Newar community. Then a Letterhead exchange was planned with the members of zone 8 and a visiting rotaractor from Bangladesh. As half of the club members were busy exchanging the letterheads, half of the team were busy cooking a hearty homecooked meal at the residence of Rtr. Palistha Maharjan where the IDYEP team were staying for the night. After the dinner, all the club members and the IDYEP team had fun-filled night playing games, singing, laughing and sharing each other's experience as a rotaractor.
In the morning we then went for breakfast of the yet again infamous "Aloo-wo" at Tangal. We then bid farewell to the IDYEP team as we handed them over to the members of Rotaract Club of Patan South.
