The main objective of the project was to provide entrepreneurial knowledge to the participants. Since entrepreneurship is a topic of interest to many nowadays, the project aimed to enhance the participants’ understanding of entrepreneurial concepts and issues.
The project was beneficial to all the participants, which included rotaractors and guests.
“Entrepreneurship Workshop” was a program organized jointly by Rotaract Club of Kathmandu and Rotaract Club of Manohara. It was held on March 16, 2019 at Rotary Hall, Thapathali. 24 participants, including 18 rotaractorsand 6 guests, took part in the workshop. It started at 1:30 p.m. and after two sessions ended at around 4:30 p.m.The speaker for the first session was Mr. Suraj Raj Pandey, CEO of Fibro. It was an interactive session in which the participants used the steps of design thinking to solve an everyday problem and design a product in an innovative way. The second session was taken by Mr. Ruchin Singh, the founder of Edushala. He spoke about his own experience as an entrepreneur and talked about the hurdles that he had to face in his entrepreneurial journey, after which the participants interacted with him. Both the sessions were insightful and met the objectives for which was workshop was organized.
