Objectives:

The main objective of Wash training is to make primary school children aware about key issues related to basic health and sanitation.  

Beneficiaries:

Wash training was divided into three parts where beginning session start with lecture followed by outdoor activities and last part related to food hygiene. All together there were 55 students and 7 teachers from the school who wore the direct beneficiaries of this program.

WASH is an acronym that stands for "water, sanitation and hygiene". Universal, affordable and sustainable access to WASH is a key public health issue within international development and is the focus of Rotary working areas as well as Sustainable Development Goal 6. The main objective of Wash training is to make primary school children aware about key issues related to basic health and sanitation.. Wash training program was organized at Jana Shakti School, Dhading jointly with Rotary club of Patan Durbar Square and Rotary Club of Saga West, Rotary Club of Omura and with the presence of members from Rotary International District Committe 2740. Wash training was divided into three parts where beginning session start with lecture followed by outdoor activities and last part related to food hygiene. All together there were 55 students and 7 teachers from the school.
